trans fluid milkshake

my 740 volvo auto just did a odd trick
the rad coolant leaked into the trans fluid creating a milkshake
oil is fine just the trans fluid and coolant are mixed

flushing the coolant is eazy
and I have a 240 auto rad to swap in [looks the same as the 740]

but how to get the milkshake cleaned out of the trans ??
or is the trans toast and needs a swap ??

I have seen lots of oil+coolant mixed milkshakes from bad head gaskets
but this is my first time for a trans fluid milkshake
any ideas ????????

contamination from dihydromonoxide.
Not much you can do except drop the tranny pan (if a volvo even has one) and change the filter and then flush it several times.

Bad deal - below is a pic of a piston from a John Deer 4455 tractor. The engine developed a micro crack and a small amount of coolant made its way to the oil galley. Once there it set up a nice reaction to seize the piston and allow for pre-detonation to occur. The result....BANG! and about $12 large to fix and a nice 'hand grenade' part I use for training.
