Singer 911 clock
 

I know this has come up before.. I want this clock or one like it. I am assuming that the collective wisdom on this forum knows at least a clock maker that I could commission to make a custom clock like this. I could do with out the TAG insigniahttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1283399639.jpg

Not to nit-pic, but that's a pre-TAG insignia aka "Heuer".

Wayne had a thread about this clock. Most likely in the technical forum.

I saw the thread which is why I want one, my thoughts are that Singer had this made somewhere why can't I?

Perhaps hollywood speedo?

Would likely be easy with basic quartz movements. But what about the trademark/copyright issues with Heuer logo?

That's the touch that makes it cool. I'll be in for one of the first run before LVMH gets wind of it...

How would you adjust it? No knobs.

There are a couple of ways to adjust quartz clocks without knobs. You can use a magnet set-up or electronically with a (removeable keypad).

Circled in RED.

This may be an adjustment knob or something else. Either way it's doable.

The only thing I would be concerned about is buy a clock with the Heuer logo when it's not a real Heuer.

Peter, that's the odometer reset for mechanical-speedo cars.

Silly me... You're right but why would they have a mechanical speedo in a Singer?

Wouldn't it be easier to use a electronic speedo with the G50 gearbox?
