Asking "Which gun...?" is like asking "Which car...?". To really make a recommendation, we have to know the intention (concealed carry, target, collecting, etc...), the preferences of the shooter and many other factors... There are many. many "good guns" and I'm sure this thread will continue to illustrate that...

Which car; a Porsche 911, of course Sir. Which handgun, another idea is a CZ 75 like the Shadow in 9mm. Or a CZ 85 Combat :) |

The wife and I need more quality time, I said walks in the woods, and she said lets shoot something. [QUOTE] OK, never allow her to have a loaded weapon in your presence. I can just see the headlines in the local paper: "Woman Kills Husband and Leaves His Body in Forest". |
Oh boy.., so we got her her bow. she knows little to none, complained she couldnt see the target real well cause she forgot her glasses.
first 2 arrows were grouped 3" apart, 3" off mark next 2 arrows were, well, she shaved the 3rd arrow with the 4th, 3" off mark. i am in deep doo doo. Oh and we leaning toward the Sig Mosquito for our plinker. we fired the Walther P22 but is too small for my hands. |
Favorite carry piece.............
Out of several (well, maybe more than several) handguns, my favorite carry pieces are 1) in winter an FNP-357 Sig and 2) in warm weather a Colt Detective Special loaded with 110 gr. Hornady +P. The FN carries 14 rounds that are approximately equal to a .357 magnum, but IMHO there is nothing that shoots like a vintage Colt revolver. The Colt is also small enough to simply slip into a pocket for easy carry.

If I was a citizen not a un-armed SUBJECT! I would carry this Kimber > 1911 Pistols > CDP II > Ultra CDP II™
