Suspicious Packages

This whole business is really getting out of hand.

pete3799 09-29-2010 09:56 AM

There is nothing suspicious about my package.

dhoward 09-29-2010 09:57 AM

Why are you looking at my package?

GH85Carrera 09-29-2010 10:53 AM

What is suspicious about your package?

flatbutt 09-29-2010 10:58 AM

At my age the very idea of even calling it a package is flattering.

I'm really glad there weren't any photos in this thread. I was a bit scared of opening it.

I suspect that the most suspicious packages would be on High school sports coaches and matadors.

Something like this????

<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mSJVEb-qljA?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mSJVEb-qljA?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

One of my favorites

It's really quite frightening."

One more snarky comment and I'm going to leave a plainly wrapped box by the door when I leave here today . . .

GH85Carrera 09-29-2010 12:45 PM

At the back door !:eek:

scottmandue 09-29-2010 12:59 PM

Checked my package... nothing suspicious going on there.

Danny_Ocean 09-29-2010 01:24 PM

Unfortunately, it only takes one to be real:

Prosecutors say Obama's election was 'catalyst' for Turnidge father-son to plant a bomb at Woodburn bank | OregonLive.com

I remember they closed down the freeway once (hours) for a piece of plastic pipe that had fallen off a landscaping truck.

"Anything fragile, liquid or perishable?"

sammyg2 09-29-2010 04:04 PM

herr_oberst 09-29-2010 04:09 PM

Jagshund 09-29-2010 04:48 PM

There was a block evacuated today in Atlanta . . . for a Thermos full of water . . . left under a school bus.

Was the water .................................................. warm?

Jagshund 09-29-2010 06:18 PM

No telling . . . ambient . . . temperature was about . . . 72 degrees. I guess it depends on the effectiveness of the Thermos(r) Brand container, the initial temperature of the water and how long it was outside: Under! the bus?

I've heard small packages contain good things....
