New spoon holder...

Went to my wife's family's house for Thanksgiving dinner and all of the guys are "gun guys" and my wife's cousin bought and sold a Sig P239 in .40S&W, but still had a horsehide High Noon Holster for it that he paid $150 for. He sold it to me for $60 and it's the 1st holster I've ever bought. All of my holsters were given to me by my father or Uncle Sam. Here's the holster, it's an IWB, made out of horsehide. Very comfortable and secure...

Cool item art.

My father-in-law had a half dozen compound bows he picked up cheap at garage sales. He let me pick one out, then gave me a dozen re-feathered arrows, a bag full of practice points, three razor arrowheads, a trigger, counterweight and a hardshell carry case.

All I need are some hay bales for target practice.

I guess I have a new hobby now.:)

Looks nice. Horsehide seems to be the thing especially in hot humid environments.

I think a crossbreed supertuck is going to be my first holster. They seem to have a huge following.

I've been wearing the holster all day, while doing my chores and I'm amazed how much more comfortable it is wearing the Sig P239 with the new holster versus the DiSantis nylon holster I've been using for 3 years.

George - hobbies are good things, especially ones that let you focus on something (like a target), then give you immediate feedback... Archery seems like it would be very cool! My father came over for breakfast today and told us he just sold his crossbow to his friend...

I use a Milt Sprks holster (well I have two of them), and I love it. I like the looks of the one you got.

Bill,
Thanks! It looks nice, but what impresses me most is how comfortable it is, even with the horsehide being as stiff as it is. I'm really happy with it so far...

The horsehide should loosen up a bit, and not be as stiff.

I have a big bag full of holsters, mostly Galco, Bianchi and DiSantis that my father gave me and I've tried many of them, but so far, this High Noon holster is the most comfortable, by far!

Our Golden Retriever is fascinated by the horsehide and goes crazy when she sees (smells) it. It's a good thing the gun/holster is always kept in a special place, out of the dog's reach. That would be one very expensive chew toy!!
