White 911 STOLEN in OKC!

Hey guys I just got an email from a fellow PCA member that his White '75 911 was nabbed from his office last night. If you could keep your eyes peeled in OK and the surrounding areas and report it he would greatly appreciate it. OK tag # TAX911. has a Montana tag on the front POURSHA.

Great running car too. I had the pleasure of instructing the guy at his first Autocross back in November.

I passed the email on to Steve too. I didn't know if he would have gotten the original message and since he works autotheft in OKC I thought he should be aware.

He took my son on the parade lap at the November Autocross. I'm pretty sure my boy has an airtight aliby though.

Watch ebay... white fenders, H4's... etc.

I'll bet it won't go to Mexico.

Part out...

He has different license plates (from different states) on the front and rear?

When I encounter a Porsche, I typically look at the drivers side of the windshield to see the VIN number. I'm interested in the year, and the last 4 or 5 digits, which denote the cars true serial number.

What is the VIN of the car stolen? I have mine memorized, along with the serial number of my '97 Jetta GLX, and my '97 Ford Aerostar. These cars can be exported instantly, and registered in another country, but typically they are either broken for parts [unlikely on an old Porsche], or just "joy ride's".

Really, this last is probably what happened with this Porsche. The kids are going to get caught tonight or tomorrow- they can't leave their new toy alone, they will drive it.

N!

It's probably riding around in my racecar trailer that was stolen a while back.
