My nephew disappeared at the mall!

My brother's kid disappeared at the mall yesterday.

My bro panicked, but found his kid safe and in the custody of one of the security guards.

The guard said the little tyke was reall miffed and told him, My daddy got lost! So the guard asked him, What's he like? and the kid says, Bud light and women with big tits.

It is hard to describe the feeling of not finding your child. I have 3 kids, ages 4,6,& 7 and they have wandered off a few times. The instant panic you experience is intense. I'm glad he was found!

That kid's got a future in comedy!

I lost track of my son for a few minutes in a mall, absolute terror doesn't begin to describe it. Turns out my wife took him to the bathroom and didn't tell me.

Nothing on the planet can make your heart rate redline faster than the moment you realize your child is missing.

By the way, if that is your nephew, he is absolutely darling!

Ain't he?

No, my post is just a rewrite of a joke email I got from a buddy. I'd have read it and tossed it as I usually do, but that little kid totally captured me and I just had to share the pic.

LOL! That is funny! You made me really nervous though as I've been through something similar even though I had no idea my son was gone. Mine went like this…

We were camping on Lake Superior with my wife, son (3yo), daughter (1yo) and my brothers family with his kids. They were in a campsite next to ours. So any ways I told my wife I was heading out on the dirt bike for a while. No biggie. So I left. My wife thought our son headed to my brothers campsite to play with his kids and my brother thought he was in our campsite. He must have been watching me leave because he started running after me. When the realized that he was gone they started panicking and searching for him. A couple hikers came around and joined in the search. Meanwhile I had no idea what was going on. The hikers ended up finding him almost a mile away down a sandy two track road and said he was fine, wasn’t scared or anything. He was just dragging a stick in the sand walking down the road. Hang on it gets stranger.. On my way back I was going down a different sandy two track and came across this van stuck in the sand. I stopped to help but we couldn’t dig it, rock it, etc out. I wasn’t to far away from camp so I said hold on I’ll go get my truck and come back and pull you out. So I get back to the campsite and I hear about what happened and was relieved he was okay. But I have to get going to help out these people in the van. So my brother gets in and off we go. We get to the van and he says “I know these people”. I said really? Get this, it was the hikers that found him about a mile away.

+100000000!!!!!

We all know the story I posted last summer about my daughter taking off.

This year she told me "Daddy, you need to make the fence higher, we can climb over this one."

Not much scares me but the thought of my kids taking off on an adventure sure as he!! does!!!
