Pelican Cyclists - Death Ride Signup Tomorrow!

Tomorrow 09 DEC 10 at 10:00 Pacific time is the "rush" signup for the 2011 Markleeville Death Ride. 129 Miles, 15,000 feet of climbing in some of the most beautiful country on the planet! The ride date is 09 JUL 11.

Not everyone can do all five passes. I certainly did not last year, not even close. But every one that you climb is a stunning accomplishment. Great rider support, very friendly atmosphere.

Whose in? Come on guys - it'll be FUN!

2012. I'm doing a second MS150 in June, and I expect to be in Spain in July...

One of my riding buddies did it last year and had a great time!

I could probably do 2012. Of course I would have to fix the shifter, and ride the thing. Would be a good project for me, I need another one of those

My folks have a condo at Incline Village that would serve well as a base. We could all have lunch in the tiny town of Topaz.

Probably have to be a picnic lunch.
