One of the things I like most about the holidays... Anyone else? Just got done a slice for breakfast. Mmmm. The Italians sure know how to make good food!

i always buy a loaf. i never like it as much as i remember. i toast a few pieces, and the rest ends up as french toast.

Try cutting into big discs and toast under your ovens broiler. A little butter and you will think that you died and went to heaven. Another holiday favorite of mine is a German sweet bread called shtolen. That toasted is also excellent.
