Greenbay vs. Chicago Playoff game

The game is being broadcast in Spanish in the Philly? Has it gotten that bad? do I have to push 2 for English now?

You don't need to speak Spanish to see that the Packers are owning the Bears in the first half.

I figured out why soccer si so boring. It's the spanish commentray. This is horiffic.

Jay will. His only problem will be finding a jersey.

Who was looking for an example of irony? How about the key play of the NFC Championship game being quarterback Aaron Rodgers tackeling linebacker Brian Urlacher? If ARod doesn't make that play, there's a good chance it is a pick-six, and taken in isolation could have tied the game.

AFC-911 01-24-2011 08:33 AM

I hope Rodgers gets his 1st SB ring. That way he can truly start his own legacy and joins the likes of Favre & Starr.

It would be nice to see them shut up all those Steelers fans that have been jumping the bandwagon the past few years.

Taz's Master 01-24-2011 09:21 AM

AFC-911, trust me the reason the Steelers have built such a huge fan base is not because of some bandwagon fans over the last few years, they've been winning for decades. Since 1969 all of the Steelers head coaches have won Super Bowls. Every Steelers head coach in the last 40 years has won a Lombardi. That's sustained winning, not a recent phenomena.

I think you'll find nationwide Green Bay receives a great deal more support from people who haven't watched a single regular season Green Bay game (unless they were rooting for the other team), than the Steelers do from fans who haven't watched any of their regular season games. Bandwagon fans aren't unique to the Steelers. They do indeed have some annoying fans and some bandwagon fans, but the Steelers have built a fan base, and kept it loyal by winning like no other franchise has won in my lifetime. They're no team of distiny, just determination.
