Today is a good day to buy stocks

Everyone is going silly over what is going on in Egypt. For example Ford has dropped 12% today.

Ford dropped because it missed earnings...

With Egypt it is a wall of worry that needs to be played out...I suspect that we will get a few more down days..which will be called a correction...which is needed..then the SM will start it climb again.

Go ahead, rub it in ! I guess there are now at least five of us who now know that someone on this board can't even "time" the day...much less the market. My running joke with an old buddy is that "I" can indeed time the market...opens at 9:30 and closes at 4 est. Seems as if some of the pros can't even do that

ps: I keed...just pickin' on "you know who". You'll remain anonymous unless you "out" yourself. The forum times have thrown me off more than a few occasions too!

We have been calling for a January pullback, thought it would have been sooner, prior to a Feb rally. Let it settle before buying, has more room to go. Also believe we are still in an upward trend, and additional consolidation is a buy. I give you 5, AAPL, EMC, SNCR, F ...- I agree, and VZ. Do with it what you like. KC

KC911, I took down my earlier post because I thought it was too "tongue in cheek" not because I thought I was wrong. 3:10 CST means markets are closed/closing in New York at 4:10 EST. As far as gold going up this is because of the "inverse relationship" between the market and gold. When the markets fall some people seek a safe haven for their money and gold is one of several choices. If the chaos continues in the middle east look for gold to be limit up on Monday...
