Emotional day
I had a close friend pass away suddenly a couple of weeks ago.
I managed to get to see him the day he passed. His Memorial Service was today, today is his 40th birthday. It's fitting that his wife decided to wait until today to have it. No matter how bad things were Matt always managed to keep a positive attitude and smile. And he had the most infectious laugh you ever heard. We were out at a Boy Scout ceremony last night and I had to run back to the house to give our cat Casey her evening insulin shot. Noticed the right side of her face was swollen. So bad her right eye was nearly shut. Casey was our 16 yr old breast cancer survivor, deaf, diabetic with Alzheimers cat. Took her into the vet this morning. Really bad abscess that would have required being put under which for a cat in her condition is tough. While examining her the vet checked her mastectomy and it was pretty obvious that the cancer was back as well. I'll do whatever I can for my pets but when it's time, it's time. RIP Casey, http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1287443824.jpg Happy Birthday Matt, http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1298761077.jpg I love you both and will miss you terribly. I'm happy you are at peace. |
I remember your post about Matt. Sad story indeed.
RIP Casey. I'm sure both will be in your heart/thoughts for eternity. Sorry for your losses, my friend. |
I know this is going to sound hackneyed, but Matt and Casey were better because you were there for them.
Is what it is. We can't change the outcome, but we can lend a hand. My best, Sir. |
I hope that tomorrow is a better day for you. Hang in there.
|
God speed to both, and my condolences to you.
