Before we send you off to MIT we need to work on a little grammer.

wanted (Wanted) to atend (attend) a school because of a single teacher? (incomplete sentence) Have you ever ... (suggested)
though (Though) I am sure that i (I) could find several other reasons, i (I) would want to go to MIT just to take this guys (guys is to casual for this instance, I would replace with Professor or Dr.) classes.

Just messing with you. SmileWavy

Some professors just have a knack for explaining things and make it easy to "get it". Unlike my Thermodynamics prof who just thoroughly just confused the s&#t out of me.

I attended a university that had a popular Accounting program. It was popular mostly for instructor who taught a course offered to graduating seniors in that program. Apparently, the rate at which those students passed the CPA exam on their first try is astounding. The instructor was like something out of The Paper Chase.

Class met for two hours in the morning, and two hours in the afternoon, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The instructor shut the door at the start of class, and the door was not allowed to be opened. If you were late, you missed class.

There were two elements of the student's grade. Final exam, and homework. Homework would be assigned at each class period, and due the following class period. Homework would be collected by the instructor only once during the course, and there would be no prior announcement.

Note-taking and question-asking were forbidden during class, except on the last lecture day of the semester.

The students LOVED this guy. I was not his student, but I liked him too. He looked like a hung-over hobo every day. His clothes were always a single color.....drab. He seemed to always have a one-inch cigar in his mouth. He taught those students how to pass the CPA exam, and how to understand accounting.

And that was the point of the weed-out class! It was to see if you had what it takes to learn the material on your own.

My University used Mechanics II (Dynamics) as the weed out course.

Too casual...TOO casual.

I spent an entire semester in a statistics class because, though he allegedly spoke English, I could not believe I understood not one word the GUY said.

So what caused the spark?

Is that why we get lighting when it rains?
