'80s hair band rendition of "Friday"

And as an 80s child, I say it sounds pretty freakin' good.

Ok, so I was an '82 special and missed most of the decade, but this version captures the spirit perfectly and is infinitely better than the original (which I also kinda like).

Definately has that "80's" rock production. Like others, I have never heard that song. Was it more of a local hit?

We had bands around Detroit that had great music but never went anywhere.

Toby Redd, BSA, and The Almighty Strut were huge on the local radio in the 80's.

The lyrics are perfect for '80s cheese! Hahaha!

Not to mention that it sounds great with a classy arrangement. I honestly cannot stop listening to it.

For those who haven't heard the original, where have you been the past few weeks? This song has been spreading like wildfire.
