Any runners around?
Hello, I'm a new runner. Started running just a mile a day. Was running it in 8 minutes when I started, now I'm down in the mid 6's. I'm also up to running 4.5 miles a day, almost everyday. My question is, what causes side stitches? I run with a camelpack so I have water since I once heard that dehydration causes them. Is that true? Also, what kind of insoles or shoes are good? My knees hurt pretty good near the end of my run and for some of the day following. I'm just glad my shin splints went away. Is it bad to run everyday?
Running sure is addicting! Porsche, through and through Tim '83 944 <>< warwounds My Photo Page My Home Page "Their would be no Porsche today if it wasn't for the 944..." |

I get up at 5:00 a.m. every morning and run 2.5 to 3 miles here in North Bend, OR. Running actually makes you smarter!
