Another problem is that some posts on OT have been started on purely factual matters.

Then some one comes along and (seemingly) deliberately posts something inflammatory in order to get the thread moved over to PARF.

ps: I appreciate Jeff's (and everyone else's) perspective, particularly the mods, but I 'spect Wayne was pretty close to shutting down OT several years ago (before the PARF split), and the "collective we" have no one to blame but ourselves. "Be nice or leave" sign hangs in a local watering hole...it's a good sign!!!
