She was about sixteen and a half! A pretty good run. I was just the babysitter, she's my brother's dog. Work/travel makes it tough for me to have a dog of my own. She loved to come over here and run around the park, though!

Damn...I hate these threads. We can all sympathize...those of us fortunate enough to have loved & lost pets...

We remember well the hurt of the loss...then we adopt another, despite knowing we'll feel that hurt again. :(
