More Balls than brains?

Hah hah-

That's got NOTHING on this- a 175 seat jet 7 feet off the ground-

-I've done a lot of things in 727's, including simple aerobatics, but I NEVER did anything this UTTERLY INSANE-!

N!

7 feet? not quite.

Point- It was probably about 12 feet. But it still makes my toes curl when I see how low he went, and with 3700 hours in 727's...the numb feel of the control yoke makes me cringe! Sorry-

For those that don't recognize him, that is Alain de Cadenet, who was the host/narrator on the Victory By Design series.

That's a surprisingly good quality image for an object going so fast so closeby....
And the sound was nowhere near as bad as I would expect.

When he banks to the left, the fuselage of the plane is roughly at the same height as during the approach, the left wing should be touching the ground at that moment.

(I think it's a fake.)

In the vid the OP posted the plane clearly banks to the left, in the vid you posted it does not...
Weird, I say something's fishy.
And if a jet plane passes to a person that close, would that person still be laughiing????

slodave 06-05-2011 01:45 AM

It's the same video.

You bet!

They say that the sultan of Oman, often flies so low with his Sepecat Jaguar, that in order to land, he first has to climb so he can lower his landing gear.
