1951 Beetle!
 

We've been restoring this Beetle for a few weeks and I just found out today, thats its a 1951 model!! Super rare!! Guy said that there is only like 26 documented ones still alive! Cool! Has a 27 hp engine!! lol..

also have an rx7 with an LS7 in it. and yes, it hauls a$$...

That's an oval ('54-57)....with a convertible decklid.

Hate to break it to you, but there's more than 26 of those around.

Here's my '50. Same color. The guys like to have it on the showroom floor at my father's VW dealership. (Boardwalk VW in Redwood City) It's a great ice breaker.

Love 'em! Thanks for the pics, everybody. Crazy...when in High School, I really wanted a VW....never bought one.

2,600, if not 26,000 would be more like it, depending on how you qualified it, ie 11C vs 11G, etc
