things to do in Nashville
 

A friend of mine just called and has started an impromptu road trip for a few days in Nashville. She's staying downtown and would like a list of things to do..
So good music, food, partying Suggestions?

Have a drink at the bar at the Hermitage. Effing great hotel.

If you like guitars at all, then check out Gruhn's guitars. Also Ernest Tubbs record shop. Maybe wander around in the old Ryman Auditorium.

Wild Horse Saloon is fun for live music and the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to is Ichiban, across the street from the Wild Horse Saloon. Go to the Ryman auditorium, too!

I used to go to Nashville during the NAMM and We (my family and I) loved it and we always had a great time!

They are trying to make it a real show, but it has a lot of dealers & distributors exhibiting rather than manufacturers. I was trying to borrow a guitar & amp & speaker. Fender, Gibson, Orange etc etc aren't coming. :eek: I finally got a Wechter Solid Body guitar loaner & we bought some Orange gear from Sweetwater.
