5 miles from Santa Clarita is where I live.

Knocked on tall and narrow plexiglass display case down, that is about 12" x 12" inches. Not even a slosh out of the pool. Yawn.

That is like in Oklahoma when the tornado sirens go off most folks go outside to have a look.

Brando 09-01-2011 02:01 PM

Felt nothin past the Orange Curtain.

Targa Me 09-01-2011 02:04 PM

Felt it in Sylmar pretty good.
It wasn't the rolling type, it felt like an up and down jerk.
Enjoy the ride folks.

slodave 09-01-2011 02:13 PM

Nuttin here. Too fer away.
I don't remember seeing one that shallow.
I'm wunderin if that fact had anything to do with the range?

nostatic 09-01-2011 02:26 PM

Shallow quake. Interesting. Didn't feel anything in Marina del Rey.

Hugh R 09-01-2011 02:36 PM

We had another 3.4 here about 5 am, people are still flipping out. You left coast guys can continue to laugh at the earthquake rookies some more.

They all laugh at others but truth be told, they are the same people who camp out in parks and front lawns 'cause they're afraid to go back inside for weeks afterwards.
