You can say that you hate country music & really believe it. Until you are pounding down a highway in the middle of nowhere Alabama & there is nothing on but preachers & country. Within 10 minutes, you will be singing along & tapping your foot. It fits the south well.

when disco was "the thing" I became a real Country fan, it was either or, and I chose Country.

And I did listen to country back in the Willie and Waylon days.

Not a big country fan but when I'm driving and tired country is the only thing that keeps me awake and alert.
