Personalised numberplates
I also thought having a Mercedes with the numberplate "MERC", or a BMW with "BIMMER" simply advertised the owner's lack of imagination.
In Sydney, there was a Rolls with "4MYEGO"...clever. My BMW 635 is "BFI09"...a little more obscure. (ME 109 was taken) Melbourne has a Prius with "SMUG"........accurate. A BMW 5 series "PANZER" frequents the school pick up near my house. Any other clever / witty / cryptic number plates ?? |
I used to have an old E30 that was ragged to the max, my tag said BEERMW

I saw a DB7 in Beverly Hills once with the plate "SLVRSPN"
There's a Honda Insight down the block from my house with "NOMOOIL" |
Ex girlfriend had a Nissan Maxima with RUMAXED2. I know, it doesn't make much sense. Illinois has a lot of vanity plates. I don't know if they're cheap there or what.
