And people think I am nuts for taking 700 pics! They just don't get it. Thanks Wayne. I look forward to looking at your photos. Heck, I might even be in 1 or 2 of them!

It was a fantastic event. I was there Friday & Saturday, & the number of "significant" cars was just incredible. And standing in the Porsche parking area was overwhelming. I didn't even know which way to walk because there were cool Porsches in every direction.

I feel very fortunate to have attended RRIII & RRIV - can't wait until RRV!

Well, I took about 980 photos+video clips on Saturday only. :)

It was an unreal event. Porsche overload!

carreraken 10-18-2011 10:51 AM

It was awesome - can't wait for the next one!!

(Hope they're coming back...)

Thanks for posting ... I appreciate how quickly each page of pics load :)

Not sure how many pages are actually posted for RR but when I clicked on page 8 and page 9 it gave me an error message saying that the pages were not found.

Flieger 10-18-2011 05:43 PM

Can't see page 8 or 9, I think 7 as well?

Yeah, I ended up flying down and thinking I'd blow off one of the days to do other things in the area, but there was always something interesting going on that I didn't want to miss. The PCA offered a few talks by some of the well known drivers and race team engineers....very informative and amusing. It was a great show, still can't get over the guys throwing the very rare stuff around like that. Ya gotta love that Cork Screw. Cheers.

Thanks Wayne, that's going to be another morning no work gets done... Great photos!

Flieger 10-19-2011 09:38 AM

OK pages 8 and 9 work for me now. Not sure what changed but whatever.

Excellent photos. I would love to attend. Maybe next year. Kid in a candy store does not even begin to describe it.

Who needs to drag a camera around these days when you have all these terrific pics online? Thank you!

GG Allin 10-20-2011 03:49 PM

What's the story on this one? Is that a late 962, never raced?

Not to get off-subject, but the Seinfeld purchase of the "first aircooled" is rumoured to have some history with it.
Some website mentioned the VIN was taken off and attached to a donor car with the blessing of the P-Corp(sometimes allowed in Germany apparently).
