New Spoon
Went to a spoon & knife show this morning in Springfield Ma. I didn't actually get the spoon there but from a S&W forum member here in Ct.which I picked up today.
It's a 4013TSW in excellent condition. With the 06 in a shoulder rig & two extra mags, the 13 in a IWB holster & two extra clips I'm loaded with 62 rounds of zombie killing fun and now my 4006 has a baby brother :) Sorry for the crappy cell pics... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319931924.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319932043.jpg I did pick but this sweet little blade though from New England Edge made by Blind Horse Knives http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319932417.jpg It was fun being Mark today :D |
I have a 4006 it's a great piece and very stout. Mine's a 40 cal. and fun to shoot. Got mine at a gun show in Orlando a few years ago it was a Calif. State Trooper turn in. Enjoy.

Very nice spoons you have there! My father gave me a 3913 that he bought new and never fired. I carry it in the winter and it's a very nice gun to shoot and carry! I want to remove the ambi safety to make the spoon even thinner and less prone to snagging...

Thanks Art. I love the 3rd gen Smiths. Great idea on the safety. I've heard of folks doing that.

Mark,
I just showed the 3913 to my friend last night and now he wants one, too! The other nice thing is that I can use the same IWM holster for my Sig P239 as the S&W 3913. The single stack gives the grip a nice narrow width that's comfortable to shoot and easy to conceal comfortably. |
Mine looks just like this...

Don't be afraid to get the LadySmith" model of the 3913NL. You can change the grips from light grey (almost pink) to black and the gun is shaped a little different from the 3913, but it's a nice handling pistol.
I also have the 669, but it's a double-stack and the grip is too wide for me... |
Here's the LadySmith version...
