Thats what I was thinking. Her coming up behind his wife, that close to his child, cause to give an a$$ whoopin. A man has a right to defend his family.

Around here, I'm routinely passed by Priuses(sp?) and Smartcars.
Apparently, you can go 80MPH because you are saving the planet. ![]() I even had a Smartcar pass my work truck, using the non-passing designated left lane, andthen cross infront ofme to the freeway entrance. THAT would have made a mess had I hit them. It really was pretty unbelievable that someone could make such a bad decision.

I'm having fun thinking of all responses I would have had if that would have been me and my wife confronted by the she-whale in the Pious...

Well, that woman is obviously a couple tacos short of a combination plate. I don't think she represents typical Prius drivers or typical anything, for that matter...
The guy driving the PU is an absolute saint. I'm not kidding, he deserve a medal just for existing.

If that fat tub of goo got in my wife's face like that, she would have been trying to drag her battered and bloody fat ass back to her car.
Seriously, my wife does not do well with people getting in her grill like that. I would have warned the behemouth that she was kicking a hornet's nest, but I have enough sense to stay out of the way when the storm hit.

I saw this sticker on the back of a big pickup one time:
"Happily burning up the fuel that your silly Prius is saving" -I want one so BAD for my 928 [11 mpg...] that I can taste it! N |

That wacko happens to be driving a Pious, but she could be driving just about any car. Wackos drive all kinds of cars, but I happen to see a bunch of them driving Neons, Kia's, Priuses (sp?) and Chrysler Sebrings. They usually have some "Ann Arbor" type stickers on the bumper (PETA, Coexist, Wiccan, NPR, Rainbow, etc...).
The guy in the truck exercised a great deal of restraint!!

I'd like to see a thread where a knock out hot chick gets out of her 911 and does exactly the same thing.
I expect the responses would differ somewhat. |

I do not think environmental wackos usually drive 911s.

Although I like the environment and nature and I drive an '83 BMW and occasionally a '71 911 with an MFI RS spec 2.7 liter.

Or guys...Randy is an exception, no doubt about it...what saddens me is that in this part of the country, those who know more about and respect nature the most are considered "despoilers" by the city "envrionmentalist" types. Yep, that would be loggers...and yep, "axe men" is bunk!

She should have run home and made snide remarks about diesel owners on a message board instead of expressing herself to the guy's face. What a cowardly twerp - and she's overweight too! Fat people should never express themselves - except anonymously, using a screen name on a message board.

"axe men" is the mascot for my local H.S. - South Eugene - tops in soccer, track, SAT scores and ok in boys football

Only the lowest of the low would curse like that in front of a couple of kids.
I've always wondered at what point you can legally restrain someone like that. If I'm in the truck I'm thinking I'm concerned for the safety of myself and my children.

Did you really think the wife or children were in any danger at any given moment? I did not. (Nor did the guy behind the camera or he would have stopped filming the whole thing) Would a preemptive attack on her person be justified? Just in case she was thinking about it? Maybe kneecap her for using bad language before it gets any worse?? What frightfull times we live in if even a fat female treehugger puts us in state of high alert... I thought is was friggin' hilarious, not potentially life threatening. If it was just me in the pick up, I would have put the car in neutral, revved it to about three quarters of its max put my hand up to my ear and say 'What? What? You need to speak up, I can't hear you over the sound of my awesome V8!" With a wife and kids present, I would have rolled up the windows, put on the AC and just ignored her.
