Bad thing about that is she will never realize it.

Maybe she'll realize it while riding the bus for a week or two when the combination meter fails.

Love it Enzo.

I've come to believe that bad drivers and jackasses need to be educated.

I drive a Prius sometimes, it's a company car. Maybe the fucher didn't see me today, but I was placed into the shoulder. Nothing provocative about it. I just happened to be beside an F350 that moved over slowly to pass another truck moving too slow in the left lane. I was in the right lane (which is wrong, I was passing both on the right), and my position had been maintained for several miles. My pace was 69mph (cruise), in a 65. I moved closer to the line as I saw him coming over, eventually moving me into the shoulder.

I knew he had no idea I was there, just a crappy driver. Once I was in the shoulder, side by side, he still had no idea I was there, so I completed the pass in the shoulder and tucked back into the right hand lane.

He had no idea where that grey car came from. Probably claims I'm crazy. Most do.

I try to teach people proper lane management by getting closer, but yield occasionally to heavier vehicles.

I receive the Prius driver label quite well.

Passing on the right is damned risky...sounds like you just found out why.

Do you mean that you speed up in order to disallow someone to make a lane change infront of you? If so, THAT is a pet peeeve of mine!

If there is room infront of you for me to make a clean and legit lane change infront of you, and by speeding up you are narrowing the margin of error, then I have no remorse for you slamming on your brakes or getting angry.

However, if I make a lane change, and the margin of error is too narrow WITHOUT you speeding up, then my bad. Sorry - won't happen again.

Seems the most desirable piece of real estate, at least in NJ, the the 50 feet of asphalt that is infront of any vehicle, especially if someone is attempting to make a lane change...

No kidding! This describes my cranky every-other-driver-out-there-is-out-to-get-me Father in law perfectly. If someone dares actually pull in front of him, he'll actually try to speed up and block the guy. I mean, really? Drives me nuts. Good thing he doesn't drive a Prius!

I was just reminded that the electric motor in the Prius delivers outstanding and instantaneous torque for passing -- a Prius in a lane next to me saw a bus pull over in his lane and he was able to shoot past me and grab a spot in front of me very quickly. (No, I didn't brandish my CCW permit at him).
