Old School!

Nice spoons but this pistol redefines cool. Are they ivory handles?

I've got to know why the .470 is your favorite. You're always bagging on those who go bigger than what you feel is necessary. Do you like shooting it, or enjoy hunting what you feel it is necessary as a tool for killing, or is it just such a beautiful piece? I figured you'd be big on a lovely little 6.5 something or other, so what makes you love the Westley? (I also expected a .257 from targa, but he said why.)

Design and workmanship.

While I have used it for hunting in Africa on Buffalo and Elephant, the design is inspired and the workmanship is superb. It prints 1.5" groups at 75 yards cold all day long.

If anyone thinks that a double rifle is easy to construct and regulate to perform at that level, they are decidedly incorrect.

I enjoy proper placement and proper calibers (sectional density) rather than just praying and spraying.

I hunt with my 6.5 x 55 and 7x57 on three Continents and have never had a problem. But in Africa they have a minimum caliber in many areas of .375 H&H for dangerous game and I do not like double rifles chambered in rimless cartridges.

Shirley, you can't be serious. I think they took a few of those in at the Phoenix gun buy-back yesterday in exchange for $50 gift cards.
