How much did the lawyers get for their hard work in getting everyone these massive settlements?

These class action suits are the business to get into if you're a lawyer. I've been part of at least a dozen for various things - the most I've ever seen was about five bucks - the lawyers always make well into the seven figures (it's typically stated in the disclosure that accompanies your notification as part of the class).

Nah, our system isn't screwed up.

I had one against a former employer that netted me $4k recently, and that was on a commission based job.

$4.50.

The lawyers undoubtedly collected seven figures.

fuelie600 12-06-2011 09:21 AM

$0.43

"Checks must be cashed or deposited no later than December 22, 2011." or the lawyers get even more!

fastfredracing 12-06-2011 09:22 AM

$18.65. Whoopee!

Rick Lee 12-06-2011 09:22 AM

$5.79

That is pretty much my experience although I am sure I've received close to $10 if I added it all up.
