I hope you got a bill of sale with that affidavit. After something like 12-15 years a title is not required in Ga.

1963 to 1986 titles not required in Ga. Newer cars yes.

In NH, there is a form you fill out to verify the VIN and a police officer comes over to see that it hasn't been tamper with, then spends 2 hours talking about your restored 911!!! Go to DMV and see what you'll need.

My understanding is vehicles bought/sold over 10 yrs old do not require a title change.

Take the registration to the DMV. They create what you need from what you have. I moved to AL with an older truck that still had payments. All I got was registration and plates plus the tags. When I paid it off, there was no title to get in my name. Freaked me out since I'm from CA and was going back to CA.

All was well when I got to CA.

You could register and plate in VT ( you do not need to be resident) with Bill of Sale. Then take reg to TX DMV. They will ask for title, you explain VT does not issue titles for vehicles this old so if TX wants you to have a title then they must issue it.
