Well I'm alive and sitting at the airport waiting to get back to Chicago.

Drove up in the rain/snow on Thursday night. Our rental AWD Hyundai Sante Fe did surprisingly well. Absolutely sick house. Got up there around 10pm, did a little boozing, at Harrah's by 1130pm. Back home around 4am, hot tub and such until after 5. Sart of the downhill spirals at the tables for everyone.

Everything iced over for Friday, so decided to forgo skiing and head back to the casino around 11am. A 7ish hour session later and the group was down about $8k at this point. Regrouped at home for dinner, then spent the night getting bottle service at the club at Mount Bleu. Out of control

Skied Saturday, crowded and limited runs but great snow. Lots of fun. Cooked a great dinner, then out to Harrah's again....at this point half the guys went back the craps table. The rest of us stayed on the Blackjack table. The guys at craps went on a heater and won all their money back and then some. The rest of us continued to get decimated at blackjack. I ended up being down $600ish for the weekend. Rough one.

Sunday morning got a slow start, cleaned out the house, then decided we didn't want to ski in 40mph winds and that lots of stuff would be closed, so we drive back to SF in time to watch the Niners. Overall, great weekend. Full out raging for three straight days, working on 3 hours of sleep a night, I'm exhausted. It's a shame my flight is delayed 2.5 hours.

Back on the grind tomorrow, hopefully I'm firing on a few more cylinders by then.

Don't ya just love those types of weekends?

When you need a vacation after your 'vacation.' Reminds me of a bachelor party I went to in Nola. I was destroyed for a few days after that.

Home from the airport at midnight and back in the office before 6am is no fun after a weekend like that.
