Anyone near Long Beach who can give me some local info?
 

Last month our company ran across another company on the web that was selling some aviation related products we may be interested in.

I sent an email to the company, which bounced. I then sent an email to each of the alternate contacts on the website. I also tried to telephone the company, however their toll-free number rang to a dentists office and of course the receptionist had no idea wtf I was inquiring about.

So, a month has passed, and today I get an email from a guy claiming to be the owner and ready to do business.

Maybe I don't need info... Maybe I just need to ignore the email. I hesitate to even think about doing business with a company whose emails bounce and whose phone numbers are not correctly routed.

Anyhow, the business is located at One World Trade Center, in Long Beach, CA. Is this a legit place to be doing business, or is this a burned out strip mall in the middle of crack-central?

One World Trade Center is a high rise in Long Beach CA.

Or I should say "1 World Trade Center."

Weird that on the (Internet) map it is in Long Beach but the address shows as San Pedro (about five miles away, where I live).

There are a lot of aviation stuff around Long Beach Airport.

I also would be suspicious of a business that doesn't have a proper phone number or website.

Sounds strange. The trade center is downtown, San Pedro is over the bridge. Also, my area code is 562 not 310. I don't know about downtown area codes

Well, the guy emailed me with a number to contact him on, a 562 number. It does not match any of the contact info on the website. The address does match the website.

Honestly, I think I am just going to ignore him.
Everything about this reeks of week old tuna.
