Try some Buster Keaton out on him... this is from "Seven Chances"...just take a look at the first two minutes... (turn the sound off)...
From "The General"...again, make sure the sound is off)...

How old is your boy?
Some of the Pink Panther movies are pretty good. I saw Fletch in the theater when it first came out, but didn't really appreciate it until much later. Then there's Seems Like Old Times, Midnight Run, any of the Three Stooges shorts, Caveman, Naken Guns, Airplanes (I still see something new in those every time I watch them). I actually don't like any John Candy or Dan Aykroyd movies. I find them annoying. Never got into Mel Brooks either.

My 10 yr old boy enjoys watching Godzilla type movies with me. We make fun of the crappy special effects.
Also, Jackie Chan movies are fun. Master with Cracked fingers, etc. Larry |

It never ceases to amaze the CRUDE you Boyz think is funny.
MAD MAD MAD WORLD was Good because of all the talent in one place at one time. The Pink Panther and Shot In The Dark were good collaborations of Edwards and Sellers. Some Like It Hot, The Fortune Cookie, Kiss Me Stupid, The Front Page or anything by Billy Wilder is just off the charts good. Dr Stranglove...is well Classic Satire A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To the Forum...Richard Lester of Hard Days Night fame as well as his take on The 3 Musketeers and then the sequel to finish the story The 4 Musketeers.. Snatch and Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels are very good modern comedies by Guy Richie A Fish Called Wanda....John Cleese is well outstanding. with a superb Kevin Kline And then there is Jamie Lee Curtis. The Producers..Mel Brooks first with Dick Shawn as Lesley Saint Dubois is just sublime. Mr Roberts...Jack Lemon as Ensign Pulver, Henry Fonda, William Powell and Jimmy Cagney can not be beat. How To Murder Your Wife...Jack Lemmon, Virna Lisi and Terry Thomas OR The Notorius Landlady..Lemon and Novak Bell Book And Candle...Stewart, Novak, Lemon and a special performance by Ernie Kovacks... Tobacco Road...one of John Huston's first is just KILLER.. My Man Godfrey William Powell and Carol Lombard ..30's Screwball Bringing Up Baby, Philadelphia Story, Cary Grant & Kate Hepburn.. Arsenic And Old Lace...Cary Grant...Peter Lorre and Raymond Massey. Destry Rides Again...Jimmy Stewart and Marlene Dietrich... AND CAN ANYBODY FORGET...HARVEY..Jimmy Stewart's tour DE force. Murder He Said... Fred MAcMurray... Then there is Bob Hope with Bing and without Bing...let us start with the Ghost Breakers, You Got Me Covered, My Favorite Blonde and then Brunette. and then we hit the Road Pics..Singapore, Rio, Morocco, Zanzabar, and Utopia...let us not forget Paleface. My Little Chickadee, Its A Gift...classic WC FIELDS.... The Trouble With Harry.... Hitchcock's sly humor..Shirley MAcLaine's first

Ferris Bueller' day off... One of the funniest movies ever IMO.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) - IMDb Also... Fly Away Home. Not a comedy but well worth watching. IMDb - Fly Away Home (1996) edit: I wouldn't bother with any of the Home Alone movies.

OK, I am thinking young child to teenager, one or two might be too young for them:
Abbot and Costello meet The Wolfman, That Darn Cat, Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang, Robin Hood Men in Tights, the Princess Bride Actually, any old Abbot and Costello, any of the old Road Movies (Bing and Bob and Dorothy!), I Was a Male War Bride or any other Cary Grant of the era, Stooges!, Paleface and Son of Paleface, look into Marx Brothers, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, Danny Kaye

Several years ago wife picked up a bunch of VHS tapes of "Frances the Talking Mule" and "Ma and Pa Kettle" movies at a garage sale. Grandkids in the 7-12 age range thought they were hilarious and we even enjoyed watching them.... (again - as I remember watching them at the movies many years ago).
