Tornados on the ground

Multiple in Dallas. F3-4.

Sirens blaring.

Hunkered down in the woman's bathroom.

GH85Carrera 04-03-2012 12:07 PM

Tornados in densly populated areas are always bad news.

Good luck to all the Pelicans and everyone else in that area. I just watched a news video showing semi trucks being flung through the air like toys. Crazy.

Sounds like one of those Penthouse letters........

BTW, hope everything turns out ok. We're supposed to get it later this afternoon/evening.

Watching some video now, stay down, be safe. Looks pretty bad.

porsche4life 04-03-2012 12:26 PM

Stay safe guys. Tornados are no fun..

stomachmonkey 04-03-2012 12:37 PM

Looks like we are OK by my office.

It's passed us.

Waiting to hear about the ones up by my house.

Kids are in school so they should be fine.

Wife is in the weather room at her school so she should be safe as well.

They are headed to Oklahoma

porsche4life 04-03-2012 12:44 PM

Yes, more towards the central and easy half of the state. We had our bumpy weather last night. It's cold out here now, all we are getting I'd rain

stomachmonkey 04-03-2012 12:46 PM

Fark, another one forming just south of me.

Gonna be a long day.

enzo1 04-03-2012 01:08 PM

SM: stay safe. I'm keeping a close eye on this storm. Did you see those tractor trailers fly in the air when Flying J truck stop got hit, unreal

Holy crap.

stomachmonkey 04-03-2012 02:12 PM

Seems to be all clear for the time being.

Good luck to you guys up in OK.

Hope it's not dark when the chit hits the fan up there later.

Hope everyone is alright, not much info on the news yet as to injuries etc. Glad I live in New England. Worst we see is snow and no power. Got a generator and a sled, so I really dont see a problem.

New England does not get many tornadoes, but they do get them. Hurricanes are the real damage makers, but they don't sneak up anyone with any brains.

True dat.

Tornados are like getting mugged.

Hurricanes are more like natural selection.
