Just added this, and-oh boy, it's super cool.

1984 Saab 99, in the US we only got 99's until the 900 came out in 1979, and then a few in 1980 as the entry-level model. This one was outfitted like a 900SPG or aero in europe. Body skirts, 5 speed was standard in 1984, but it was outfitted with a 2.1L 16v, full-pressure turbo....tons of fun.

more pictures.

Picked up this 2013 WRX a month ago for $1,000. An acquaintance owned it and blew the engine. He didn't want to deal with it, just go buy a new car. The car is in spectacularly great condition, even more so now that it has a new engine. It lost a crank bearing so I bought a new short block from Subaru and dropped the heads off to my guy. New turbo, hoses and belts, etc. and it's back on the road as of yesterday. I put 150 miles on yesterday so another 850 before I can hit the boost. Must...be...patient

My other car is a T-350 passenger van. I prefer that over a sedan, pickup or other standard vehicle. It's quiet, comfortable, has plenty of power and an all around pleasure to drive. I can haul up to 4x8 plywood and sleep in it when we go out to the desert for a weekend. It does have it's disadvantages at times. An old high school friend & his wife visited the city last year. I took the van, thinking about the room, comfort, & good view with all the windows. Big mistake. The are elderly and both had big trouble getting into & out of it.

Your Honda looks great Scott

Yes, bought it from a classic car auction back in May, needed some luxury in my life and compared to my old Toyota truck the LS400 has plenty

Hah. This E28 fell into my lap a week after posting here that I'd probably never buy another German car now that the 911 is gone.

84 533i

Lots to do on it, but it doesn't have to be done today and I like the shape and the size of this three box classic.

Agreed. Some cars age pretty well and old germans seem pretty reliable for that.
