Mark, if you look right above the video, it tells when the eggs were laid, and when they hatched. I think the last eaglet hatched 3-31.

There's a locally famous pair of eagles (George & Martha) that had a huge nest in a tree about 50 feet off the roadway. It was a something you'd look at every time you drove by there. After a storm damaged the tree with the nest the eagles moved on. Later, some firemen got up to the old nest for a look and it was littered with pet collars.

the dark side of me LOL! yes, pets are protein. then again, i always cheer the carnivore.

this is a cool link. the audio adds to the experience, for sure. it looks and sounds VERY windy tonight.

2012 timeline: 1st egg laid 2/17, 2nd 2/20 and 3rd on 2/24. 1st egg hatched 3/27, 2nd 3/28 and 3rd 3/31

I've been following the live feed since Sunday and I can't believe how much the eaglets have grown in just a few days.

All is good today. They are eating as of the moment I write this.

For those of you who lke this stuff,here is a link to a nesting pair of peregrines.
Of a total of four eggs,two have hatched in the last couple of days.

maybe...or it could be just another day in IA, ND, SD, MN, NE, IL, KS... . The wind on the Great Planes is a remarkable thing.
