Whats with all the guests?

When I typed this there was 29 members and 187 guests on the board. Why don't you guests join the board, sign up and introduce yourselves, you don't have to have a Porsche, you just have to love them and want to learn about them. Take the plunge, quit trolling and lurking and join the best site on the web. SmileWavy
It can't be said enough but thanks Wayne.

A lot of the guests could be members that just aren't signed on. I don't always sign on when i browse the board.

944Larry 04-16-2012 03:58 AM

could be Mustang owners too! 10-4 on the signing in, sometimes I won't be signed in and don't realize it till I want to post.

john70t 04-16-2012 04:03 AM

Could be regular members who haven't logged in, just a guess.
Either that, or the multiple facets of Tabs irresistable personality have begun to take form and materialize into the physical world.

Don't worry, Wayne's got that covered. Using IP information from routering stations corrolated with tower triangulation, the device is located, the user's cam turned on, and facial recognition software identifies the guest.

I only log in when I wish to reply to a thread or check User CP.
I do not want my computer to auto-identify me on any site.

I suspect there are many who operate in the same mode.

On the other hand, I sold the old E ten months ago to a good home. :(

Best
Les

I'm a lot more careful about my presence here lately. Most of the people here are great, but there are people here doing some creepy things.
Island keeps track of who is on line when he starts a trolling thread over on PARF and pitches a fit if certain people are on line and ignore him. The other day I made a post and deleted it 2 minutes later. The next day he reposted my deleted post. That stuff is just too creepy weird for me. What normal person cares that much about what goes on here?
Anymore I only sign in if I have a photo to post or want to reply to someone. I don't want my activities tracked by anyone.

Wow.... Thanks for the headsup pat... I didn't know he was near that far overboard.

I sometimes check who is on the Board and will even check what Thread they are on if I am interested. Most of the time who gives a fk...

You mean this post? . . posted MINUTES after you posted and quickly retracted.

"Next day" Edited - personal attack removed -Z-man.

And " keeps track of who is on line" -are you high? Wayne's software keeps track and then posts the info at the bottom of the main page for all to see. Same with that little 'light' next to names; green=online, blue/grey=offline.
Now you're all paranoid that people know. :D

Denis, and you need . . meh, you're too pathetic. Ya can't win an argument so you "go Irish" (actually Neanderthal "a 9-iron"? ) to compensate. ..so pathetic.

Hugh R 04-16-2012 03:23 PM

I'm not here; oops, nevermind.

This idea of being a guest seems to have merit. In any case it has become clear to me I don't belong over ''there''.

widfifteen's error was associating the word "normal" with island

You're right, I went a little overboard there. All you really need is good hard slap or 10.

Yep. Absolutely.
But - you are the only person I've ever seen who has taken a screen shot of the "on line" info. If that weren't weird enough, you used the screen shot to justify a hissy fit because people you were trolling for were on line at the time of your trolling post and had the temerity to ignore you.
