. proud of my old truck and had to brag. just rolled in from a little 15-16hr road trip. 700 miles running pretty light there and towing a 62 oldsmobile 4dr land yacht back on a dolly. 1 hr stuck in houston 5 o'clock traffic . 17.5-18 mpg averaging 65mph. not bad for a 16yr diesel dually with 296,000+ miles. might have done better had I changed oil and filters at least once in the last 2 years. power steering went out a couple hundred miles from home so that was fun
