Never said I agreed with debarking....my ex hence the ex part wan't the sharpest knife in the drawer.
As to collars, your experience is common. She also tried using a collar on my female Lab w/o my input. She turned it up on high. The Lab went into a serious lethargy from it. Was seriously thinking of smacking her for for doing that.....stupid twit..... |

Took a ride around the joint yesterday. The Red Heeler is 13 years old. She likes to ride a little bit more than she used to:cool:

Hey human, take us for a ride in this contraption thingy, and make it snappy. We're dying for an In & Out Burger K-9 style. Just don't leave us in this thing like cousin Bart from Chicago. You might not be too happy when you get back....... Now get crackin on that K-9 style burger. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...ac940a72c6.jpg |

So weird. I can't see any posts or anything, the page just stops after PorscheGal's post of the polar bear petting the dog. I was able to see the newer posts by replying with a quote to one of the posts above hers.
I just read an article that said that the same place that had the polar bear petting the dog had a polar bear kill a dog less than a week later. The guy that lost the dog breeds some sort of rare Alaskan husky or something like that and has had to move a bunch of his dogs because the polar bears were killing them on a weekly basis. A scientist that was quoted in the article said that the "petting" was probably like a cat playing with it's food before it kills it. I guess it seems less "sweet" now. |

Now a year since my girl Stella passed. I still miss her every day but we're getting close to bringing home a new rescue.
This was here a few days after we got her:http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1480366043.jpg These are a couple others... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1480366079.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1480366113.jpg |

Re: the story below, I don't know many of the details, I don't know what their issue was with their dog, there might be a perfectly good explanation.
But on the surface, it just pisses me off to no end! Quote:
