Found an oldie from about 1983....."Reka"....one of the best. She walked into my office, sat down and lifted her paw to shake hands. Never found her owner. She was about a year old mix and I had her for 16 years!

Dog started out on the foot end, worked his way up until he was licking the kid on his ear.

Great pics, Tob!
OK quick update on Winkipop....a few days ago I noticed she starting licking a couple areas on her rear quarters. Right side near the top of her leg and left side near her knee. I think it's because she has some pain in those areas and is trying to 'heal' it with licking. Just in case, I have her in an e-collar and will be applying hydrocordisone and antibiotics for a couple weeks. My vet said he wants to re-visit her left ACL since even with pain meds, she's favoring that leg 50%. She's a real trooper.....which is making all of this that much harder. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1485827652.JPG Right side sore area: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1485827724.JPG Left side sore area: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1485827724.JPG |
The DOG thread
Thanks for the update Baz. I was literally getting ready to post a question on Wink's status when I saw your post. We all hope the best and send well wishes to her. Belly rubs to all.

Thanks for all the pics and that cute video Enzo....loving it!
If anyone is interesting in using the spice known as Turmeric for joint pain relief as well as other health benefits....go HERE for more information. There is also a Turmeric Users Group on Facebook you can join as well with more info. You have to ask to join but they just want to avoid spammers so no big deal. Just do a search for Turmeric User Group. I made the paste and we have been using it now for 3 days and along with some new meds, Winkipop is much more mobile so hoping things keep improving over time. |
