Not sad. Cool Zombie apocalypse ride.

futurefun 07-01-2012 10:45 AM

Yeah, except for there is no zombie apocalypse.

Gogar 07-01-2012 10:47 AM

Not . . . . . . . . . yet. :)

speeder 07-01-2012 11:11 AM

Super cool. I'd really like a slightly ratty 911 variant, (again). Art-mobiles are cool if you made them yourself.

Flieger 07-01-2012 11:20 AM

I thought that was used in some movie?

I found some more info:

Quote:

"SHP’s innovative automotive engineering abilities were challenged by the Top Gear Live Management Team for this year’s world tour.

With every vehicle build being bespoke, created from an artists impression, with no engineering remit to the clients requirements except that the vehicles would have to be durable and able to stand the rigors of two days of rehearsals at each venue plus ten shows per visit and ten stops on the world tour, these vehicles were to work really hard.

So what was created for the Carmageddon sequence? Retro style vehicles Ford Capri, Ford MKI Escort and a Porsche Carrera each vehicle having to compete in its own element of the show.

The Capri would eventually end up on its roof via the Carmageddon ramp. The MKI Escort gets a roof chop via a cut off beam and 911 Porsche gets blown up via rear action rocket attack. All the respective damage created via the Stigs driving ability to implement mayhem and destruction via his so called friend in an Apache black buggy and his fighter plane graphiced street buggy."

Probably thinking of the "Death Race" 911:
1990 Porsche 911 from Death Race

I know the guy who built the "death race" 911. It isnt a 1990. It's a 912E running on webers.

I imagine that's somewhat like my car's going to end up looking like in a week or two. Minus the ability to roll part.

Why is that? I noticed your project hasn't had any updates.

McLovin 07-01-2012 04:16 PM

don't care about the car one way or another, but

WHOA!

Does this mark the return of kstar?!?!?

That would be a welcome change here.

onewhippedpuppy 07-01-2012 07:16 PM

Is there a punchline? I don't get it.
