Going on 4 years now..

Sometime I get lazy having to maintain it every other, day and let it grow out to a #1 cut

I had long hair for years because my wife liked it. It was a HUGE pain. One day I'd had enough and shaved it all off. I've been shaved for about 7-8 years now, I think, and I love it. I wish I'd have done it when I was 12.

Yeah the only downside is that bumping you head without a bunch of hair more often results in a scratch or cut.

Steve shaves his head in the summer and grows it back in the winter. He has GREAT hair, but to be honest, he is so smokin' hot as a bald man that women practicly hurl their undergarments to the ground and chase after him in mad, hot lust.

I shaved my head to a super short stubble from 1998 until this past October......have a killer scar which stood out and was good fun to talk about.......
In October I wanted a change, so I let my hair grow out and dyed out blonde......suits me well and look 10 years younger.........even though I'll be 40 in sept I still feel, act, f@@@ like i'm 28........lol

I'm thinking of becoming Jewish so I can get one of those little hats for the bald spot.

Got a bald joke for you; men who are bald at the front are great thinkers and men who are bald at the back are great lovers, and me who are bald all over think they are great lovers.

That's right.

I began shaving my head 15 years ago rather than to succumbing to the dreaded "Friar Tuck" and I must say.....

When Bruce Willis began shaving his head, his daughter told him "Right - the comb-over of the 90s, dad." :)

I go with just stubble myself, cutting it back every week or so - less maintenance.

Pet peeve - guys with a full beard and shaved heads, so their sideburns just stop by their ears. I rock a goatee, which can stand alone.

I used to have hair down to my belt and lost a bet. Yup shaved it all off. Never again. But then again I still have a full head of hair

My brother in law started loosing his hair when he was in high school. He has been has little hair left to shave. His two boys are the same way.

I still have my hair! Naner-naner!

But it went grey when I was 25.

I finally got tired of my thinning hair, now my haircut is my wife buzzing me with a #1. On the upside it saves me $25 at the haircut place every few weeks.

all you BUZZ guys.

there is no better tool than an OSTER CLASSIC 76. it comes with a steel #1 blade, and a #00. the buzzers with the plastic combs pale by comparison in the performance dept.

i use the #00 ever since my barber told me he felt guilty taking my money. he showed me the OSTER and showed me how to do it..and told me which website was the cheapest..he even offered to buy it with his barbers license if it would help..i miss the camaraderie of a great barber shop.

God is such a jokester..taking all of my hair, while giving me such a good looking face :D

I started with the #00 blade about 10 years ago. My wife would cut it every couple of days. Then about 6 years ago I started shaving it. At first I just used soap, and then one day walking around Target I discovered King Of Shaves gel. That stuff is the ****. Cremington just recently bought them or something, but they still carry it, only at Target.

When i am not on my phone I will post a picture.

My hair started red, then turned black in the areas that it would eventually fall out... I looked like the kid from the Molly Ringwald movie... Wasn't good.

I haven't been in a barber shop in 5 years. I do a #1 buzz every two weeks. I hated giving the barber $20 every month for something I could do just as well.

speeder 07-14-2012 05:15 PM

I haven't given a barber any $$ since I can't remember, cut my own hair. But I still have some. The shaved head look is OK on some guys with a great head but it makes others look like an escaped mental patient.

Mine is thinning but I'm not throwing in the towel just yet.

Zeke 07-14-2012 06:17 PM

I cut mine too. I have since I was 19. I'm having trouble now with the shoulder to get my arms up to hold and cut. Never tried a Flowbe.

My experience with barbers is not all that good. But then again, I never gave one the chance to get to know my hair.

My wife is an ex cosmetologist (still carries her licence since it involves 1600 hours to get one) and can do the parts I can't get to anymore. Getting my hair cut drives me nuts unless I'm the one cutting.

speeder 07-14-2012 06:21 PM

I'm not a bad barber, if I do say so myself: :)

Oh Haha 07-14-2012 06:57 PM

About a year ago I thought I would let my hair grow long again. I let it go for about 2 months and it looked silly. My wife didn't like it but I refused to get it cut.

One day, I bought some hair clippers and mowed it down to about .25 inch. I didn't think I could leave it but I found it liberating to not worry about it. No matter the weather it is always in place and the gray doesn't stand out as much.

I use a # 3 guard about once a month and have my wife clean up what I can't see.
