Canadian Donor Cycle doing 186mph

Puts it on UTube....he's on the run. Registered the bike to his Mommy. What a tool.

Mommy had to pay $1450 fine and the son is AWOL from his Arrest Warrant.

Charge laid in 299 km/h motorcycle racing spree on Island Highway)

Boy has skillz!

BlueSkyJaunte 07-16-2012 04:51 PM

That was a ballsy run...I'd've crapped my leathers.

Joe Bob 07-16-2012 04:56 PM

Wiki says 182mph is the top speed. Of course the cops and media say he exceeded that....

mikeesik 07-16-2012 07:32 PM

C'mon he was just trying to get away from the high U.V index that day.
I'm sure he was an Albino.

DanielDudley 07-17-2012 02:25 AM

I'm surprised he isn't already dead.

petrolhead611 07-17-2012 02:27 AM

Do they have a home for the Criminally Insane in Canada?

slow&rusty 07-17-2012 04:19 AM

Maybe he had a serious case of the runs after a greasy lunch.

VINMAN 07-17-2012 04:59 AM

Effin A-hole. Hope he loses his DL permanently.

Joe Bob 07-17-2012 07:05 AM

That's just it...he doesn't HAVE a license....

VINMAN 07-17-2012 07:44 AM

No DL then serious jail time.

Sorry, maybe its just me , but I don't find the it the slightest bit cool, or "skillful". That lowlife scumbag endangered everyone else on that highway. You have a death wish? Then just go slam into a bridge abutment on a deserted road.

Jeff Higgins 07-17-2012 07:56 AM

Dang, it looks like they are taking the bike. That's too bad; I was looking forward to more video. Maybe his adoring fans will set up a fund to buy him another one.

182 mph = 292kph .. ad some margin of error to the speedometer
or some tuning to the bike and you got 299 kph.

I really don't think 299 vs 292 kph is a big exaggeration

Let's call it "stupid fast for public traffic".

svandamme 07-17-2012 08:10 AM

Btw, i still wonder how they can make it stick in court.
All he has to say is "wasn't me, somebody else must have taken my bike for a joyride and didn't tell me"

Especially if they want to sue him with a criminal offence, innocent till proven guilty applies, right?
Burden of proof is not on the accused... And how in hell can they prove who was riding the bike in that video?

aigel 07-17-2012 08:10 AM

Can they get him on just the video in Canada? What is the law in the US? Will a stupid video get you cited if they can trace it back to you?

G

Jeff Higgins 07-17-2012 08:26 AM

I'm not sure about the rights of the accused and burden of proof and all of that in Canada, but here in the U.S., they really can't touch these guys. Not without having actually stopped him on that ride, confiscating the camera, and all of that. There is simply no way that anyone can say who it was from that video. They really can't even say for sure that it was the same bike they confiscated. If Scott is smart enough to keep his mouth shut (most of these guys are not - they'll nail him from a tweet bragging about it) he's golden.

FrankyV 07-17-2012 08:36 AM

While most speed limits are set ridiculously low in the interest of revenue generation not safety, I can't defend this kind of behavior. Last week a crotch rocket rider almost committed suicide using my front bumper while the whole family was in the car. It would have been no fault of mine, but surely would have had a horrible effect on us for a long time if he had succeeded.

A linked news article states the Police have three witnesses whose testimony will hold up in court.

Payback is a b!tch.

Can't be absolutely sure but I think that was shot on the Malahat Highway on Vancouver Island, a highway that can be crazy busy at times. The guy would have been vapourized if he had collided with anything. It was way beyond 'stoopid'

Cheers

Porsche-O-Phile 07-17-2012 11:31 AM

I'm unimpressed.

Usually motorcyclists riding fast/stupid don't get under my skin too much since they typically only pose a risk to themselves and the thought of them eventually taking themselves out of the gene pool isn't a bad one. However this guy was SO reckless that if he'd "bought it", he almost certainly would have hurt someone else too. That's where it crosses the line. He's just a douche.

If this jackass really wants to commit suicide that badly, I'll lend him my 12-gauge. It'll be easier and he'll be unlikely to hurt anyone else in so doing.

I say give him a rope and teach him how to tie a noose vs the gun. You know Brooks' style.

I opened up a crotch rocket once but that was on a quiet country road. This guy obviously has no clue. Hope he learns before hurting others.

LeeH 07-17-2012 06:53 PM

Stupid. Thoughtless. Selfish. It's bad enough to risk your own life with a stunt like that, but at those speeds he would likely take out others, cause others to have to live with the memory of scraping his sorry parts off of the pavement, or both.

GWN7 07-17-2012 08:44 PM

There is a warrent out for his arrest but it's only enforceable in BC as it is only a traffic offence that he is wanted for. Which means if he never goes back to BC they can't touch him.

If you are gonna quote me from another thread....at least get it right. It was.... interviews like a limp dish towel.

ahh, that's the one.
Same thing, only different. :D

Tervuren 07-18-2012 01:08 PM

I've unintentionally sent a Dodge Pickup truck doing some where above 100MPH off the side of the interstate. His closing speed was too fast for me to realize what was going on.

There was a stupid solid no blend line on an interstate exit, that kept me from moving to the right when I saw a vehicle closing from the distance in my mirror. As soon as it ended, I moved over to the right, as I wanted to take the exit. (Lane continues straight). Despite two open lanes to my left, idiot had tried using the right lane to pass me. I had thought he was fast, but didn't know just how fast he was closing, so when I had dotted lines, I put blinker on and moved right, and ooooh snap, there he was off my fender. I stayed in my lane, he shot off the road onto the shoulder, and I moved over after he was gone.

It would of been a non issue if the lanes didn't have a stupid solid stripe several hundred feet long, I'd of been in the far right lane, and his only option would be to pass me on the left. As is, he illegally shot to my right, was going a heck of a lot more than the 75-85MPH faster cars usually go here, I was going the 60MPH speed limit.

I have no idea how fast a Dodge SRT-10 pickup can go. He passed me like I was sitting still, so he was going at least double my speed, maybe more.

As a motorcyclists, all it takes is one guy making a lane change, who doesn't see you coming. With that closure speed, a guy can take a snap look in his mirror, see nothing, move over .75 seconds later, and BAM.

Nut case is probably related to that other vid posted with the Veyron blasting. If he has issues with the law, he could say its b.s. and theres no actual picture of him on the bike or perhaps its CGI created stuff. Regardless, that guys death wish is no place take anothers.

mikeesik 07-18-2012 09:48 PM

These videes have been made over and over.
If they really had balls they would do this -against the traffic- you survive , you become heroic.
You die you become stoic.
That is all.

Well they have insane asylums and jails. Apparently there are too many prisoners now and they are doubling up in jail cells. Every country has its proportionate share of nutheads.

GWN7 07-20-2012 05:57 PM

Insane asylums are now politically corrected and know as "mental health centers"

Even that's not politically correct anymore. My wife works at the biggest one in Ontario, I don't know how she handles it, but it's nice to know she has job security.

TheRecord - Accused YouTube motorcyclist appears in B.C. court

Unfortunately with our justice system, he will probably not be sharring a cell with Bubba :rolleyes::rolleyes:

ckissick 07-26-2012 08:09 AM

What were all those cars doing, parked right in the middle of the highway?
