Bring a Trailer is... "an attack page?"

I've never heard of such a thing... must be something the new version of Malwarebytes is alerting on these days.

If you have Malwarebytes, please click on the BAT link in your favorites and see if this appears:

It looks like the site has been compromised. You'll get hit with a driveby is you visit.

I've been going there for years...love it... but got the same message this morning..

It's not the web site that is the problem. Your computer is infected and is showing a false alert when you look at the web site. That's what the virus does.

No, it more than likely is the site; one of my sites was compromised and I got the same error.

Reifle 09-15-2012 08:18 AM

Page failed to appear then my anti-virus sent me a message that the site was compromised - a few moments later it appeared and all was OK

Avast is disallowing me to view the PPOT favorite year pick-up thread as it has links to BAT...

From BAT's FB page:

Bring a Trailer Thanks for the concern and emails. The virus warning was fixed about an hour ago. It may take a re-load or some time for the Google crawler warnings to clear. If it is still happening, let us know what browser you are using. Thanks!

andyt11 09-15-2012 09:27 PM

Just got a similar warning when visiting the site from my old BB.

On again. WTF? Some hacker get negative comments on his Trabant or something?

McLovin 06-12-2013 07:46 AM

BaT must have some enemies. This isn't the first time they've had this attack on them.

kach22i 06-12-2013 07:54 AM

If it's not too late...............................Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download

I agree, that is a malicious warning, you may already be infected.

Don't do any Adobe update/upgrades either which may pop up after a restart.

The attacks are indiscriminate; there are bots that constantly troll the net, looking for opportunities.
