Rem. 870. Cheap, aftermarket mod parts out the wazoo.

Hope you can reload fast, in the dark and under duress.

Two words... Short and simple.

Pumps are great but the thought of one jamming just when you need it at the most is frightening and reloading one is not gracefully.

If it was me... Cut down over and under. Keep the stock as is but "trim" the barrel so you can turn around in a narrow hallway with no issues. I'm old school ;)

That's what I use. It has a flashlight and a doorbuster or whatever its called on it.

hate to say it........but once you grow up with a "CLUB" like an 870, you will always have a soft spot in yer heart for one. the versitility is amazing. in a matter of a few minutes i can go from full blown street sweeper to a 28" bird barrel configuration.

i swear by benelli's. some of the most fun we have had is hot and heavy dove and quail, never ever had a feed or eject problem. and we have run cases of shells thru them!

I like the Benelli Nova over the 870, but the accessories will not be as plentiful.

Or you will identify where you are and they can get ready; get gun, charge in quickly, etc.
