A wise decision
I would like to share an experience with you about drinking and driving.
As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years. A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends at the Marriott Hotel and had a few too many beers, and some rather nice red wine. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before: I took a bus home. Sure enough, passed a police roadblock but, as it was a bus, they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise; as I had never driven a bus before, and am not sure where I got it. |
Like. :)

Thank you, you have done your community and yourself a great service!
I have been a police officer for 23 years and have seen many horrible tragedies that could have been avoided with a bus ride or taxi ride. I tell many people that the price of a cab, even if it is $100. is cheap insurance. thanks again. Steve |

That's what you would call overlooking a minor detail.:p

You've got to be kidding. An old joke and it caught you guys? LOL.
I know people say that posts are not really read, just looked at. This proves that axiom. |
Got me good, never heard that one before.

When my good for nothing BIL lived in town (or am I the good for nothing BIL, I forget), I'd go to his place have a few and take a cab home. $12 with tip. Pick the car up the next day.
If I got a DUI, I couldn't enter Canada for work, and couldn't rent a car anywhere, so I'd be out of a job. |

Isn't there something in the news today about a city bus driver caught with pot brownies at work?
|
That's a good one...
