Bought some dog toys....
Went to petsmart and bought some dog toys. I buy them cheap on clearance since they don't last long. My dogs just love fighting over them and ripping them to shreds. How does a dog instinctively know to pull out all the stuffing? I spent time this afternoon in the yard raking up the stuffing from something they ripped to shreds.

it's adorable. but in your dog's mind he is ripping the entrails out of a prey animal.
just got my cowboy one of these. he loves it so much that the first night i got up at midnight and took it away from him. he just would not give up on the last bit of treat rattling around inside. rattle rattle thunk rattle snorf gobble rattle thunk thunk thunk rattle snorf gobble rattle snorf. ![]()

I have a couple of those, but with the second dog, I'm really scared of them actually fighting. They have got real nasty over food.
