Earthquake in Boston?
Say what?
Felt it here in the white mountains......... holee fookin shyte...............
Yeah! was a 4.6 on the Maine NH border........Sabago lake area. woof! |
We had a 5.6 ish one here last summer, it was strange
Hey dog, doan be jones'n our west coast stuff now .....
If I felt an "earthquake", I would probably assume we blew up another refinery
Pretty good shake here.....80 miles from it.
4.6? You would have to be really paying attention to notice that.
Uh oh. Not good. Earth quakes in places that don't normally get them suggest a buildup in pressure somewhere else then.... bang.
Bill, there are quakes in that area of the US. They are just small. The type of rock doesn't build up the same pressure.
Good.
I haven't been to Boston yet so I wanted it to still be there a while longer ;) |
Felt it last night - meh. Not much compared to the ones I used to experience on the left coast but fun and definitely enough to notice. USGS was reporting last night that it was only a 4.0 but they often revise those reports after later review by seismologists. Either way kinda neat.
