That's what I meant by huge. Ratings and related build up, hype, money, etc....
Nobody is going to beat the Tide this year.

Definitely the way to root...but I'm afraid NOT the way to bet...:(

Lots of hype leading to a boring and uncompetitive national championship game.....just like last year! That playoff can't come soon enough.

I dunno.....they are a very very good team but came close to losing last night and......next week's game will feature an "X-factor" named "Johnny Football"!

This shapes up to be a great game - one I cannot predict who will win because I believe in both teams.

aTm features the hurry-up offense as well...

If 'Bama loses it will make things very interesting in the BCS.

Dang it...missed it by a week.

Johnny Football! One hell of a QB, and only a Freshman.

When we played 'em 2nd game of the season I knew they were a force.

Glad we don't play them next year!

Bama still not out of the NC hunt but they now need help.

If no more upsets....Oregon and KS in the NC...Bama and ND in the Sugar Bowl.

Go Gators!

Here we go......two significant games tonight.....let's see if K. State and the Ducks make it....

I'm calling for a Cardinal victory. Not sure about the Bears but hey - it could happen...

Gotta love it when rooting for the underdogs pays off...

Rtr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like the SEC will be back in the NC game with Oregon and K-state losing so late in the season. I'm just happy that Ohio St can't play for the title..(I grew up in Mich:)

Those top BCS teams ALWAYS have bullseyes on their backs come end of season.

This is when the rubber meets the road folks.....one more undefeated to fall next week....can't wait! :)

RWebb 11-18-2012 11:00 AM

what happens if no team is lossless?

We can hope the BCS computers short circuit and crash...

Hell, I dunno...it's enough for me that the Ducks finally lost one!
Lou Holtz predicted the Stanford win...the other ESPN guys though he was nuts.
Guess the old guy knows the game a bit, eh?

onewhippedpuppy 11-18-2012 11:07 AM

At this point I'm thinking ND vs the SEC champ. USC didn't look capable of beating anyone on Sat.
