I also got a raise this weekend
 

Boss called me on Friday and gave me a 10% raise. Out of the blue. That was pretty cool! I must be doing something right.

That's awesome. These days you need a raise just to stay even.

I got a similar call but it wasn't a raise - it was a sizable RSU grant.

I was stoked - it was pretty nice.

I didn't get a raise, just more news that they are making room in the company to keep me on until I finish school, and it looks like I'll be in a good spot to take my pick of positions when I'm done. :D

That must be a nice feeling. All of my raises have been fought for tooth and nail and still less than expected. I suppose I shouldn't complain, but it would be nice to have an employer exceed expectations for once.

The dude I work for has his hand down my pants. This is getting old...

I've done my tour in the ICU and so am familiar with RN wrath...it's not a big deal. We both know how most of it ends.

There must be something in the air, my boss came into my office first thing this morning (which he never does) and gave me one too. It's piddly compared to your 10% but I'll take an extra 2.4% anytime.

It's been a very good year, evidently I've been all wrong about that Obama guy ;)

BTW a couple weeks ago I mentioned that I applied for a job at corporate in San Antonio (that I had no chance to get, masters ME req.).
I wonder if this off the wall "peformance-based adjustment" had anything to do with that? :cool:
